Sow, sow, sow is the main drive… this is the time to sow aubergines, courgettes, pumpkins, sweet peppers and tomatoes indoors. Outdoors I am sowing beetroot, lettuce, peas (especially for pea tops for salads), perpetual spinach, radishes, turnips and Swiss chard and spring onions. It is also the time to protect young plants from slugs, bird damage and flea beetles.
